Quang-Tien Dam
About Me
🤞 I am looking for a PhD position in generative models for the September 2025 intake or later.
I am Quang-Tien Dam, a master’s student at Ritsumeikan University, supervised by Prof. Joo-Ho Lee and Prof. Dinh-Tuan Tran. My current research focuses on using generative models to generate reactions to human conversations or physical stimuli signals. I aspire to leverage AI to expand the boundaries of human knowledge. Imagine a future where machine learning enables us to understand whale communication about water conditions—such fascinating research excites me.
I graduated from Danang University of Technology, where I was guided by Dr. Ninh Khanh Duy and Dr. Le Tran Duc, who nurtured my scientific dreams. I loved astronomy and was the president of the local student astronomy club, where we hosted astronomical events and created science outreach content to promote the subject. I hike in my free time and am a big nature person.

- Computer Vision: video generation, multimodal generation
- Facial Expression: pain facial expression, facial reaction in dyadic conversation
